Please follow the directions below to create a new email account on Outlook
2002/XP.
1.) To begin the process, open Outlook 2002/XP. You should be presented with
the window below. Click on 'Tools', then 'E-mail Accounts'.

2.) Choose 'Add a new e-mail account', then click 'Next'.

3.) Choose 'POP3', then click 'Next'.

4.) Type your full name next to 'Your Name:'. Type in your email address,
using all-lowercase letters. Don't forget to put the @ symbol, and do not use
any spaces whatsoever. Use the following information for the items under 'Server
Information':
- Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server:
mail.yourdomain.com (ie... mail.gregrobert.com)
- Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: Use your ISP provided
outgoing mail server. If you do not know this, you will have to call
the company that provides your internet service. ie..
smtp.sbcglobal.net. If your ISP does not provide an outgoing email
server, you may use mail.yourdomain.com as your outgoing, but we can not
guarantee that this will work all the time!
Under 'Logon Information', type in your username, where
username is username@yourdomain.com. Type in your password. Make sure that both items are typed in
all-lowercase letters, then click 'Next' to continue.

5.) A new window will pop up as shown below. Type in 'Nicayla Server' under 'Mail
Account'. If you'd like to fill in something for 'Organization', here's where
you can do it. It isn't necessary to fill in anything under 'Reply E-mail:'
unless you'd like replies to go to a different email address. Click the
'Outgoing Server' tab to proceed to Step 6.

6.) If you are using "mail.yourdomain.com" as your outgoing, you need to check 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication',
then choose 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server'. If you are using
your ISP's outgoing mail server, skip this step or contact your ISP for details
on how this is to be configured. Click on the
'Connection' tab to proceed to Step 7.

7.) You need to check 'Connect using my phone line' as shown below if you are
using a phone line connection. If you are on a company LAN or wireless,
you must check the "Connect using my local area network
(LAN)".

8.) At this point, everything that needs to be filled out is completed. Click
on 'Test Account Settings...' and Outlook 2002 will check to make sure
everything is correct. If everything is correct, you'll see the second window
below. If anything doesn't show up as 'Completed', write down any errors and
re-check your settings. If there were no errors, click 'Close' in that window,
then click 'Next' in the first window below, then you can click 'Finish' and
you'll be done.
